Our owner, Chef Richard Hales a third generation Tampa resident, is back in his hometown of Tampa after 25 years away mastering Asian cuisine in New York City, Hong Kong, Chiang Mai Thailand, Penang Malaysia, Singapore, Bali Indonesia, Seoul South Korea and Tokyo, opening award winning restaurants and appearing on the Food Network; beloved by the likes of Guy Fieri. Our seasonal menu features secret techniques using the finest ingredients and availability of locally sourced produces. Hales Blackbrick has been open since 2013 at our original location in Miami, Florida. We relocated to Tampa, Florida in 2022 and have become part of the amazing Tampa Bay community.
